Facilitated by the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Blueprint Virginia is a comprehensive effort to provide business leadership, direction and long-range economic development planning for Virginia. Early childhood education is cited as a priority under the Education Goal which is to "Build on our nationally ranked education system to develop the world's best workforce for the 21st century. Virginia's School Readiness Report Card 2016
This report examines and assesses the capacity and effectiveness of the state's system in supporting the school readiness of young children.
